Tell us a little bit about yourself?
I'm a Canadian living in Australia. I am a mother of two gorgeous boys and creative designer behind my brand, Phoenix and the Ocean. I love finding beauty in life's simple moments.
We love your imagery and the lifestyle shots you capture through the camera. What started your photographic journey?
I have always identified myself as an artist. I didn't realise my passion for photography until I started taking photos for IG. I fell in love with the process of creating a beautiful image and found myself investing more and more into developing these skills.
We understand you love fashion and styling as much as we do, can you share a wardrobe essential you could never part with?
I could never part with a flowy white dress. I like to use a lot of white in my styling and outfit choices to make other elements and emotions stand out.
You are raising two beautiful boys, do you have any insights or advice on parenthood in this generation?
The main advice I would give another mother is to trust your own instincts. There is an overwhelming amount of resources telling us how to raise our children and I believe it's just about leaning into what feels right for you.
Lastly, what would you say is your pick of the season from our Spring '21 range 'Hacienda'?
I love a simple white linen dress, so the Sorrento dress is my pick of the season.
